Drawn into the man we are
Because it is from woman that we came.
We perhaps arrived here from a star
And onwards to the unknown becomes our aim.
Mother gives us warm assurance.
But Father pushes us ready or not outside
His parenting requires endurance;
Hers says that in protective love we can abide.
So, when we look to one or to the other
Woman or man, to dad or over there to mom
It will generate a challenge or a smother
To trim waves of excitement or to bathe in warm waters’ calm.
Whether turning out or turning in it is you want
You will always cross a gender archetype’s signature font.
